Transitioning from military service to civilian life, I embarked on a dynamic career path. From humble beginnings as an overnight cashier at Walmart Stores, Inc. in 2001, I steadily climbed the ranks, eventually becoming an Assistant Store Manager. Seeking new challenges, I transitioned to Lockheed-Martin, Inc., where my logistical expertise took me to Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

In 2011, I transitioned to the realm of higher education, becoming an Adjunct Professor at Miller-Motte Technical College in Clarksville, TN. My dedication and leadership were quickly recognized, leading me to being promoted to Director of Education in 2015. Despite the closure of Miller-Motte campuses in 2016, I remained undeterred, focusing on completing my doctoral dissertation while laying the foundation for my online coaching business.

I’m an Ordained Elder at Christ the Healer Church in Clarksville, TN. My faith grounds my work as a Teacher, Speaker, and Coach with service and compassion.

I’ve been called “a woman of action and service.” God has open doors where my impact extends beyond the classroom and corporate boardrooms. In 2018, I was elected as Montgomery County Commissioner for District 5, assuming roles such as Chair of the Jail and Juvenile Committee and Chair of the Legislative Liaison Committee.

Notably, I championed legislation making Montgomery County the second in Tennessee to recognize Juneteenth as a paid holiday for county employees—a testament to my commitment to equity and justice.
